At the end of last year, when I was still an optimistic free lancer I was asked to come up with a design to come on the wall of a revamped hotel in central London. This potentially huge project is still in the making and we haven’t even decided on the interior yet, let alone matching wallpaper.

This means that what I’m posting here is a quick sketch that I was hoping would make it into the guest house, but got knocked early on. I can’t show you what’s in the running at the moment or even which hotel it is, so more on that when time comes…
